When I remember what the Lord has done

When I remember what the Lord has done I will never go back anymore When I remember what the Lord has done I will never go back anymore Looking back over my life And I see how far God's brought me So I'll never go back anymore! I've been discouraged along the way But He's been faithful So I'll never go back anymore Oh No, No no no, no no no I will never go back anymore

What do I do when I'm afraid

Everyone faces scary situations. But the Bible says we don't have to face them alone. "I am with you" God promises. Notices He doesn't say, "I will keep bad things from happening to you." Instead, He promises to help us when they do. God walks with us even in the darkest valley, just like a shepherd stays close to his sheep (Psalm 23). When you're afraid, remember: no matter what you go through - no matter how dark it gets - God will be with you every step of the way.

Pearls

Matthew is using a variety of similes for the kingdom of heaven…a pearl is a perfect simile because a fine pearl is a valuable treasure that needs no polishing or cutting by man. It comes to us complete and lustrous created by God through nature, as is the kingdom of heaven, which only God could create and perfect. Sent from my iPhone
